About Edwardsville Water Corporation

The Edwardsville Water Corporation is a non profit corporation established in October, 1963 by virtue of the Laws of the State of Indiana, for the express purpose of creating and maintaining a supply of fresh, potable water to residents of Edwardsville and its surrounding areas.

Each property owner (If purchasing on contract, the contract must be recorded at the court house, otherwise not considered a property owner) within the Edwardsville Water Corporation service area wishing to be supplied with water, must pay a membership fee and be furnished a signed Membership Certificate.

The member is responsible for payment of all charges assessed to each tap in (meter) established on his or her membership.

No member shall hold more than one (1) membership Certificate nor be allowed more than one (1) vote on issues at meetings of the collective members.

The membership Fee shall be refunded by the Water Corporation and the membership Certificate shall be surrendered by the member upon sale of property to a new owner provided that the member does not still live on the system.
