Our crew is currently on site at a Water Main Break on Carriage Way in Lanesville. This break affects the same customers as yesterday's break on Villa Drive. Once repairs are complete, the PRECAUTIONARY Boil Water Advisory will remain in effect for the following customers:

update: NEW WATER STORAGE TANK COMPLETE & FULLY OPERATIONAL

FRANK OTT ROAD - GEORGETOWN

Edwardsville Water's contractor, Caldwell Tanks, has completed the $4.44 Million construction of the new 1,000,000 gallon concrete water tank at the Frank Ott location. The new tank was fully operational on August 7, 2024, and a commemorative ribbon cutting ceremony took place on December 12, 2024.

The old 125,000 gallon water storage tank that was built in 1979, was removed on July 9, 2024.

With the current growth in the Georgetown community and the future growth to come, Edwardsville Water will now have the storage capacity to accommodate any additional future growth in the area surrounding the new tank for many years to come.

Drive by and take a peek at the new tank if you are in the area. The tank can now be seen from I-64 on the approach to the Georgetown Exit and from many other areas within Floyd and Harrison Counties.

A special thanks to Floyd County for their $500,000 grant towards the financing of the project.
